    Re: Magic Mart to move

They have several dining room sets, several entertainment centers, living room groups...
Decent prices I'd say. 3 pc coffee table/end table sets were about $150-$300 for example.

It's not exactly "high quality" stuff like solid wood or anything but it's fine for most folks.
    You'll shoot your eye out.

Nice stuff from what I've seen. They sell Ashley brand furniture, that's good stuff. I want one of those recliners.

Honestly if the store is decent, they will do ok, just because a lot of people dislike the way the Walmart shopping center and/or Wally world itself.

They don't have to compete with Walmart, they just have to be a viable #2 option, since Kmart is almost like a flea market on steroids.

    Re: Magic Mart to move

I went in there once several months back and it was like a completely different store. It was clean, you could walk, things were organized. I thought wow they have really fixed it up and ready to compete. Within a few weeks, I went back and deja vu all over again.

Is there anyone who works there besides the lady at the jewelry counter and 3 cashiers? How are they making a profit?

    Re: Magic Mart to move

They hired dozens more people when they moved to the new store. If they only had the 4 you mentioned, that'd be a very good start to making a profit.
